pmc malaysia was set up in 1986 by Patrick Mirandah, the Founder and Chief-Executive Officer of the pmc group of companies. Patrick joined the profession with a background in industrial engineering experience and qualified as a registered Patent Agent in Malaysia and thereafter in Singapore.

The Malaysian office experienced significant growth especially after 1997. Today it has gained a strong reputation as a boutique practice providing both conventional IP services as well as more sophisticated IP services in keeping with technology. In the last 2 years, pmc malaysia has developed a strong legal and technical team working hand in hand with clients on their disputes and contentious matters relating to IP cases.
