In the first half of 2007, our community service project will be about saving the environment. Staff in our various offices are scheduled to participate in several activities including:
Singapore - Coastal Clean UpAll our staff will be dedicating half a day to do a coastal / mangrove swamp clean up. By doing so, we will be giving a second life to many marine animals and plants choking in the floating debris. This is a structured program organized by the Green Volunteer Network which is part of the Singapore Environment Council. The real purpose is to educate ourselves on how not to be a wasteful society and how such waste can make our environment even more fragile. The real education is to recycle and not to throw away wherever possible. By doing so, we will be learning about protecting the environment.
Malaysia - Our Contribution to Wildlife
We are negotiating with Malaysia’s national zoo on a clean up project for selected wild life and animal habitats. With our large staff force, we anticipate this to be a big project which has to be tightly organized and will be contributing our time, effort and energy and at the same time educating ourselves on the special needs of zoo and wildlife creatures.
Indonesia
We are making arrangements to help re-establish clean water supply to an area hit by the Tsunami and which is still not restored to normal. We will ourselves be seeing to the proper implementation of this project which will come with a donation from
pmc and the idea is to get our staff totally immersed in the project to ensure that the donation reaches the right people who need it most. We are considering water supply to homes as well as to farmers for irrigation of land and crops with special emphasis on clean and green environment.

As our way of sharing with the community in the year 2006, we embarked on several competitions involving young talent. Our youngest was 4 years old and we reached up to the level of sponsoring students for a Master's Degree in IP Law.
