In the year 2000, Gladys Mirandah was invited to be a speaker on a “Domain Name" conference in New Delhi, India. This opportunity led to the beginning of the concept of the Asian office to be set up by Gladys starting with the Indian affiliate office of pmc in New Delhi. The experience was an eye-opener in terms of staff selection, training and crossing cultural boundaries, notwithstanding that Gladys’ parents originate from India. The excitement and challenge she experienced while working on Indian IP matters led to the “planting of the seeds” in the other Asian cities where pmc can provide you with IP services.

From the New Delhi affiliate office, pmc provides IP services to the Indian sub-continent including Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Rapid changes in India,  particularly in the IP scene, has made the challenge both timely and rewarding.
