Juvelyn obtained a degree of Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering in 1999 from the University of San Jose-Recoletos, Cebu. She is a licensed Chemical Engineer in the Philippines and a member of Philippines Institute of Chemical Engineers (PICHE).

Prior to joining pmc in 2007, she worked as a Process Engineer for two years and a Chemical Patent Information Analyst for five years. As an Analyst, she was primarily responsible for analyzing patent specifications and drafting abstracts of chemical patent information in the fields of Chemical Engineering, Inorganic and Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry and Metallurgy. Her interest in IP led her to pmc. 

Juvelyn’s hobbies and interests include internet surfing, travelling, and watching detective fiction and science fiction movies.
