Ian Mirandah graduated from the Imperial College, London majoring in Biochemistry.  Upon graduation, he joined the Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property course at the National University of Singapore in Intellectual Property Law. 

Ian has undergone training in United Kingdom on the European Patent System and has attended short course in Holland and Japan on Patent drafting and claim construction with particular emphasis on infringement actions.

He is fast gaining experience in contentious patent disputes in the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia, particularly in the pharmaceutical field. 

He is based in the firm’s Malaysia office and advises on patent strategies on ASEAN.

Ian is a keen writer and contributes extensively for various publications.

Ian’s passion is music, singing and production.  This will make him one of the very few “singing” Patent Agents in the world.
