Neoh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manchester. He attended the Southeast Asian Drafting (SEAD) Training Course organised by FICPI (Federation Internationale Des Conseils En Propriete Intellectuelle).
Prior to venturing into the field of intellectual property, he spent seven years as an engineer with a leading manufacturer of electrical and electronics. He applies his industry-related experience to his patent work.
Over the past decades he has accumulated experience drafting and prosecuting patents in the areas of civil and construction engineering, electrical, electronics, mechanical and structural engineering, as well as IT systems and software.
At Mirandah Asia, Neoh advises on patent filing programs; conducts freedom-to-operate searches; drafts patent specifications; analyses and strategizes on arguments to overcome objections and secures certificates of grants of patents, thereby providing a holistic approach towards protection of clients’ patent portfolio.
In his spare time, Neoh enjoys tinkering with DIY projects, such as home improvement and car maintenance.
