Surabhi Pathak graduated with a B.A. L.L.B. (Hons.) from University School of Law & Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, India, in 2015. Thereafter, she worked in the Trademarks Team of a leading intellectual property firm in India where she conducted trademark searches, contested Examination Reports and provisional refusals, argued at Show Cause Hearings, drafted Statements of Case for ‘Well-Known Marks’ and User-Affidavits and conducted brand auditing, amongst other things and was promoted as a Senior Associate.
She relocated to Singapore to complete her L.L.M. in Intellectual Property and Technology Law at the National University of Singapore in 2018-2019. As an Indian Qualified Lawyer, she has been a Member of the Bar Council of Delhi since 2015. She also holds a Certification from the World Intellectual Property Organization for completing the General Course on Intellectual Property. She is fluent in English and Hindi and understands elementary German.
At Mirandah Asia, Surabhi manages the portfolios of trademark clients from a wide variety of sectors, assisting them with the prosecution and protection of their brands in all ten ASEAN countries and India.
In her spare time, she likes to take budget trips and play with cats and dogs. She is also passionate about giving back to the society and has engaged in various volunteer work to uplift the weaker sections of society.
