During the trips, Panuwat would endeavour to speak English to Patrick, rifling through his English phrasebook and diligently making notes to correct himself when he made a mistake with his speech. He came across as an honest, hardworking and dedicated man.
So impressed was Patrick by Panuwat’s attention to detail, he decided that the new office in Bangkok could do with somebody just like him, and so he hired his man.
Panuwat remains a mainstay of the Mirandah Asia Thailand office ten years on and takes pride in his work every day conducting due diligence, searches and market investigations – the qualities that Patrick saw in him as a motor bike taxi driver have remained and flourished. Indeed, over the years, he has built a great rapport with the Intellectual Property Office as our Chief Liaison Officer.
His progress within the company is an amazing journey.
