Ramraj Maniraj graduated with a B.A. L.L.B. (Hons.) from Chennai School of Excellence in Law in 2011, relocating to Singapore to successfully complete his L.L.M. in Intellectual Property and Technology Law at the National University of Singapore in 2013. As an Indian Qualified Lawyer, he has been a Member of the Bar Council of Tamilnadu and Pondicherry since August 2011.

Ramraj began his legal career working in intellectual property firms in Chennai, India – as an Associate Partner and a Legal Associate. There, he honed his skills in filing trademark applications, drafting legal notices including Oppositions, evidence in support of Oppositions and Applications, as well as attending hearings before the IPAB and the High Court at Madras, Tamil Nadu. After moving to Singapore, he worked as a Legal Executive in an insurance law firm.

At Mirandah Asia, Ramraj manages the portfolios of trademark clients from a wide variety of sectors, assisting them with the prosecution and protection of their brands in all ten ASEAN countries and India.

Ramraj was the co-founder of an NGO set up to give free legal aid for the benefit of disadvantaged communities in Tamil Nadu. He speaks fluent English and Tamil and won awards as an avid college volleyball player.
