Marjorie R. Santos is the Head of IP Department in the Philippines, and Head of Post-Grant Department at Mirandah Asia International. She is a registered Trademark Agent in the Philippines with over 17 years of experience in intellectual property (IP), with extensive experience across trademarks, patents, industrial designs, and utility models.
Marjorie specialises in Philippines IP practice before the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPH), including trademark searches, clearance, IP applications and examination procedures, registration, renewals, recordals, and portfolio management..
As Head of the Post-Grant Department, Marjorie oversees the renewal and post-grant management of trademark and patent portfolios across multiple jurisdictions worldwide, with particular focus and expertise in the ASEAN region. She works closely with international clients, foreign associates, and IP offices to ensure the efficient and timely management of complex, multi-jurisdictional portfolios.
Throughout her career, Marjorie has undergone specialized IP training and programs both before the IPOPH as well as overseas, continuing to strengthen her knowledge of international IP practices and developments. In turn, she develops training programs for her teams as part of the in-house continuing education program.
Outside of work, Marjorie enjoys spending quality time with her children and travelling to different places, discovering new destinations and creating memorable experiences with her family.
