Juvelyn Cubilla is proud to have worked on over a thousand cases in multiple ASEAN jurisdictions and India. In addition to managing her own client portfolios, she successfully supervises the entire team of patent specialists, maintaining an efficient workflow and high productivity across the board. She also conducts freedom-to-operate (FTO), prior art, equivalent and status searches, and provides FTO and patentability opinions for clients. Juvelyn plays a prominent role in training staff in the Indonesia, Thailand, and Philippines offices, and she regularly contributes to journals such as the CIPA Journal and Asia IP.
Juvelyn graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of San Jose-Recoletos and is a Registered Chemical Engineer in the Philippines. She began her career as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing company before being promoted to Process Engineer. She then transitioned to become a Patent Information Analyst, responsible for analyzing and abstracting patent information across different technological sectors. Her experience in patent analysis, coupled with her technical knowledge and prior experience in technical production, led her to Mirandah Asia.
In her free time, Juvelyn enjoys running, and she has earned numerous medals from participating in marathons.
