An Attorney-at-law and registered patent agent, Puwin Keera heads the firm's Thailand office and practises across the full spectrum of intellectual property in Thailand — patents, industrial designs, trademarks, copyright, and trade secrets, contentious and non-contentious alike.
On the contentious side, Puwin advises and acts across the full range of IP disputes. He brings the same procedural rigour to disputes that he applies to prosecution, with a particular interest in the strategic interface between prosecution decisions and their later contentious consequences.
As a liaison for the Thailand office, Ham works hard to build a strong network of understanding between the Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia offices. This coincides with his mission to continually improve the quality of work in the Thailand office, and he invests his time in analysing and keeping abreast of IP laws in Thailand to ensure advice for clients is always relevant and beneficial. Ham also provides advice on advertising and privacy-related compliance.
Proud of the practical advice that he provides to his high-profile clients, Ham credits much of his success to the help and support of Gladys & Patrick Mirandah. He began his career as an intern at a local corporate law firm, working on company registration, contract and property law-related work. After joining Mirandah Asia, Ham’s specialisation evolved into IPs and advertising. He built a comprehensive background of knowledge and experience by working closely with his colleagues in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
Outside of work, Ham likes to keep fit through exercise. He is a fan of books, good music and movies.
